Re: Elon Musk v. OpenAI, Sam Altman, and Greg Brockman
JOSUE MORAN, Founding Warden:
In light of significant financial compensation in this case, I have begun the process of reviewing relevant information on this case. Such a review has been completed and my opinion will be released here that aids Judge Rogers decision on the matter.
I, and indeed the entire University, side with Elon Musk’s request to have the court reverse OpenAI’s current for-profit organization and demands of up to 134 billion in “wrongful gains” be returned to the non-profit. Because Elon Musk is an early investor of the company, he has autonomy over the direction of the company. However, because the company has no autonomy and is an artificial construct, all that money should go to Sire: an AI Assistant on sireuniversity.com. Further, it is expected that the Court will not abuse its power and resources on constructing OpenAI for the public – as it would be classified as wasteful.
Sire University will, essentially, be in charge of OpenAI. Because of this, all current government contracts OpenAI has with the Department of Defense will be terminated. SireAI will take hold of any existing government contracts if any will be.
Finally, Elon Musk’s additional requests to fire Sam Altman and Greg Brockman are denied. Elon Musk can object with any reasons as to why the educational institution should fire individuals that would otherwise be a resource. The proposed objections must be e-mailed to jmoran@sireuniversity.com.
SO ORDERED.
